Gary lives and breathes his off-season program; it is inspiring to see him in the gym every day practicing what he preaches. Over the last 5 years training with Gary I have noticed huge improvements in my strength, endurance and stamina both on and off the ice. The program encompasses all aspects needed to be a true pro hockey player aside from just training (nutritional and lifestyle advice, therapy and recovery strategies). Gary’s program has allowed me to continue to play at a high level and prolong my career.
In addition to being my trainer since I was 15-years-old, Gary Roberts has been an irreplaceable mentor and friend. As a former NHL player, Robs knows exactly what it means to be in our position, the grind we go through year-after-year and the toll each 82-game season takes on our bodies. His training methods are constantly evolving and his program encompasses everything necessary for each player to be as successful as possible at the highest level.
